On a census return if someones birth place is given just as 'Scotland', how do you find out where in Scotland.............or don't you?? |

The householders form didn't ask ''where'' in another country you were born.....if the information was offered there was probably a 50:50 chance of the enumerator bothering to write it down! How many census records have you found the person on? Merry |
