A very helpful website if you are looking for burials of your Jewish rellies in London. I emailed United Synagogues and they emailed me back all my rellies info, including dates of burial, cemeteries and plots, plus a few other people who I never knew of. You can call them or email them and they'll help you out. http://www.unitedsynagogue.org.uk... Go to the Site Map on the site and then click in Contact Us. Has all the details there. They search the following cemeteries on this page: East Ham Plashet West Ham Willesden Bushey Waltham Abbey Alderney Road E1 Brady Street E1 Lauriston Road E9 Aldershot Dover http://www.unitedsynagogue.org.uk/burial.html... Hope it helps. Kirsten

Sadly no. They found her sister, husband, brother-in-law and her parents-in-law, but not her. Beginning to think she never existed : ( Not really sure what else I can do.

Oooh, that's a shame. Isn't it strange. Merry

Completely baffled by it. The only thing I can think of is actually going down to London and going to her local library and finding her on the electoral list.

you were lucky I had to send them £27 to get my details of 3 relatives and I knew the peoples names dates of birth and deaths and where they lived when they died, but then they did send me 2 Burial authorisations, which were interesting reading.

I find that surprising. I got two emails worth of info regarding my family buried in East Ham and Plashet Cemetery and I got the info for free. They were very helpful through email and when I called them on the phone several months ago.

yes I was surprised because I rang them first and they said you had to send £27 with the peoples details they would answer nothing by email or phone without the money first.I thought it was a bit expensive to say the least.
