Chris, I'll send you the sites. If 'their' Joseph is the same as yours, it will be exciting, as they have a photograph of him, before he left the UK.

Chris, I can't find a death, but are you aware that someone named 'Shilton' (last name) is looking for him, too? I tried Ancestry and didn't see anything. I next tried a google search for 'Biddlecombe Alpena' and found several things in which you might be interested. I can pm you, if you aren't related to these people.

Can anyone help please - I am looking for Joseph Biddlecombe who was in Alpena Town, Alpena County, Michigan, USA. He is on their 1870 and 1880 Census then I have lost him. I can't find a death for him. He was born in 1819 in Yarmouth, IOW. Any advice or help gratefully received. Chris
