Sharon and Stella, Thank you for your replies. It is nice to know that I have the right name and I will try that website. I have contacted Social Services for Camden to see if they have me in their archives (doesn't it make you feel old to be in an archive). Anyway, thank you again for your replies. Georgina |

Georgina - there's a website called Hidden Lives Revealed - a virtual Archive. Try that - I think you can enter the name of a home on there and it will give you details. It is - hiddenlives.org.uk |

Hi Georgina, Yes there was, my inlaws had to put two of their children in there for a while as their house burnt down.unfortuantly for the life of me I can't remember where she said it was and unfortuantly she's not around to ask anymore ;( . Contact Camdens Archives www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/leisure/local-history/ They are really really helpful there ans should be able to come up with something for you. Good luck! Sharon |

I believe I was in the Kentish Town Children's Home in 1955 and would like to find out where it was and anything I can about it. I have googled it and can seem to find nothing. Cyndi's list seems to be playing up - any ideas would be helpful. Georgina |
