Hi Lindy, Do you have the marriage cert for Thomas and Jane? the 1901 census took place on the 31st march if she married Thomas after that she wouldn't be a Lamb yet....just a thought Just seen Marie seems to have found a marriage in the A/M/J quarter, so she hadn't married Thomas when the 1901 census took place. Sorry Linda we have the most horrendous storm at the moment and my connection to the internet keeps going down. Good job I’m using my lap top as we have no electricity. Thought it was strange that Janes children were in the workhouse but she was not there. I suppose she could be living with someone as their wife and using their name? will keep looking in between he thunder and lightening. JoJo

i have just taken a look at it and i dont know !! it gives her place of birth as dukinfield in cheshire but her place of birth has always been leigh lancashire. so iam not sure thanks marie love linda x x

thanks jo jo when she died in 1926 she was buried in her first husbands grave - peter aspinall and her name on the stone is jane lamb. dont know what happenned to john nugent or thomas lamb ? love linda x x
