Thank you everyone for your useful input. It seems I am not alone. After sending emails to GR I have now had a reply saying that they will look into the problem of the card details being changed, and another informing me that I will be credited with £2.45. There was no indication on my renewal message of how much I would be charged, so I have suggested that this information could possibly be included, so that we would know exactly what we are being asked to pay. Thanks again Hilary

I kept bugging them until an e-mail came worded exactly the same as a previous one so I sent a sarcastic one in reply and got a refund. If you check the thread I nudged though you will find we will be renewing next time at the higher price Elaine

In same boat. Have also complained. Twice. And complained that an early screen says response is 24 hours, while a later one says two working days. Not impressed either that if you press a back button if you wish to amend your text you then lose all the facts you have carefully typed. Do they not wish us to contact them, perchance?

I had a similar problem on my renewal date which was Friday June 30th. I had not only ticked continuous membership but I sent GR an email the week before my renewal was due to ask which of my credit cards I had used last time. I didn't receive a reply. Late last Friday, I received an email from GR telling me that they were having a problem with my credit card. I followed a link they had provided and gave my credit card information. When I had finished giving the information, the next screen read thank you for renewing and it also showed that I had been charged £9.45. I was not a happy person! I send GR an email. Monday morning, I received an email from GR saying that they would credit my credit card for £2.45. I'll check my statement when it arrives. However, I'm assuming if they say there will be a credit that I will find a credit. Linda

I also had problems with my renewal. Had to enter all details in again and succeeded after several attempts. However, I just checked my bank statement and see I was charged 9.95, I didn't realise it was meant to be £7.50 if you were renewing. I tried to contact GR twice when I was having trouble with my renewal and got no response. I have just sent them another e-mail to query the £9.95 - does anyone else have trouble contacting them. Hello, As a 'continuous' member, when the message to renew appeared at the end of May, it told me that I did not need to do anything to renew, but that if there was any problem I would be informed. I did nothing, and then found that my membership had expired. To renew, I went into my account details, and found that the field for the credit card number now contained my board name!, and the expiry date for the card contained a totally wrong number. I corrected these to the details I had had the previous year, and all went through. However I now find that I was charged £9.95, and I thought it should only have been £7.50. Has anyone had this happen to them, or can anyone suggest how the card details came to be corrupted as they only appear when payment is required? Thanks, Hilary
