Now that the local NHS trust have moved maternity services from Huddersfield to Halifax there won't be many babies born in Huddersfield in future, but lot's will be born in a lay by on the Elland bypass.

I thought that Mercedes was some sort of Greek or Roman Goddess? Didn't Mr Benz name the car after his daughter? Or was the car first and she was conceived in one?

My second son was born in an ambulance in Stoke Hammond High Street. As there seemed little point in continuing to the hospital, the ambulance then turned round and went back to where we came from!!!!

Hi, I had my daughter on the bathroom floor!! her birth cert just gives the address we were living at, at the time, we did make the local paper though 2 weeks running the first week was the announcement and the gory details and the following was a pic of us, which i still have, be interesting what her family make of it in yrs to come lol

Good job parents don't always follow that trend, I know a couple of kids who might have been named Carparkia!
