A real long shot in Lancs-Is it mission impossible

This is a real long shot. On any census can anybody find a John Cowham Beaver. He seemed to change the surname of Beaver, in honour of some relative, but his “new” surname name is unknown. He always kept the middle name cowham, which started out as some body’s maiden name. He and his family are in Lancs. Off to work now so will check to see if any sleuth can find this elusive man

The only one I can find on free BMD John Cowham Beaver Year of Registration: 1899 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec District: Louth County: Lincolnshire Volume: 7a Page: 586 Lincolnshire - not Lancs - so presumably not the right one!
