Living Relatives

It's been my experience that GR is an excellent way of finding relatives, living and dead. My GR tree has everyone in it, living and dead. I'm just very wary with enquiries about living people and never ever release my tree to anyone before I've established that they are a bona fide relative. I've made at least 20 new contacts this way, of people linked to my tree. My tree now contains nearly 3000 people, of which at least half have come from GR contacts. Of these, several came because of a common living relative.

If you go to 1837 online, you will need to buy units and each name lookup is 6 units. you may get lots of people with the same name and you will have to decide who could be the one you are looking for. Eileen
