Wendy Presumably you still have your birth name? Get your Birth Cert if you don't already have it and this will give you your parents names. Also, there must be a file on you if you were fostered - phone the Social Services and ask for an interview, I believe you are entitled to see your file if you are over 18 (Anyone know any different?). A word of caution here, though - you may be uncovering upsetting things - are you able to cope with that and do you have emotional support? Search these boards for Adoption threads, which cover many of the same emotional issues that you either already have, or will encounter. Good luck OC |
