My sister in law has imported my family tree onto her GR tree the only thing is she has got my side of the tree as well which she wants deleting. I have started from the top of the tree working my way down but as soon as i come to someone who is married i can't delete them how do i do this. Many thanks Jennie |

start from the bottom and work up, delete children, then marriages, (then the people become someones children again) then delete the next gen of children up. you cannot delete anyone that has a child, |

hiya, from what i understand you have to delete all the children first, then you can delete parents, hope this makes sense Julie |

OK so i have just deleted my son , then when i went to delete me it says 'cannot delete as in multiple relations' so i tried to delete my husband which said the same and tried to delete from the top of my tree but says exactly the same. It is a little hard to just pen and paper my tree with my husbands side of the tree as i have over 100 people on it. If nobody can think of anything else i will have to write to GR and see if they give me any other information other than the vaigue instructions they normally give. Many thanks Jennie |

I found it much easier to buy a copy of Family Tree Maker and concoct my tree offline. Mind you I did start over 10 years ago, long before GR was thought of. |
