Help with death certs please...

I've received 2 death certs this morning but I'm struggling to understand all of the causes. I've looked on the Paul Smith site but I'm not any clearer. Could someone kindly explain if they know? I'll write them how the spelling looks (quite hard to read) Cert 1 1a) Liver Failure b) Carcinonatosis of Liver c) Oat-cell caricoma of left lingula bronchus 2 Bronchopneumonia Cert 2 1 a) Cerebal Metastoses b) Bronchgenic Carimoma I appreciate any help Cheers Helen

Not sure of all the words but it looks lie they both died from lung cancer. In the first case it had spread to the liver and the second to the brain.

Thanks for that. I've just decided to google (obviously not thinking straight due to the heat!) and I now know that my Nan, (cert 2) died of brain and lung cancer. How tragic. She died at 40, I never got to meet her. I'm going to google Cert 1 now. Cheers Helen

I suspect all the words starting ''carci...'' should start (or be) ''carcinoma...'' - to do with cancer. ''Broncho-'' is the main bit of the lungs. ''Metastoses'' is probably ''Metastases'' or ''Metastasis'' - which I think are cancerous changes. Christine
