Sometime ago I think I saw a thread where you could request from ever so kind people digital photo's of certain places. If anyone is still happy to do this then I would be extremely grateful for photos of the following places (if they still exist): - 34 Bedford Place, Leeds + 22 Brunswick Place, Leeds + 13 Acton Street, Bradford. Two of my rellies were born at the Leeds addresses, early 1900's and another rellie lived with his adopted parents at the Bradford address, again early 1900's. Many thanks, John

Hi John, If you google leodis it will bring you up a site which belongs to Leeds City Council. It has old photo's of Leeds houses/streets and you may get lucky. Hope it helps Kim x

John - what a coincidence - my Grandmother lived at 23 Bedford Place, Leeds in 1904 !! Can't help with any photos though - sorry. Stella

Thanks Kim, What an interesting site! I shall certainly visit this more often now I know it exists. It shows both the roads I wanted but not quite the actual buildings. On Brunswick Place I've just missed out, it shows number 24 and I think 25 or 26. I wanted 22. Ever so close though. At least it gives me a very good insight as to where my rellies were born. Thank you again, John

Wow Stella! Very close. Was your Grandmother still living there in 1910? That is when my Grandfather was born. Maybe his Mother knew your Grandmother. It's a small world. John

Not sure about that John. Her name was Lucy Harrison - married to Abraham Harrison. Stella

The name's not familiar. It would be great to do a bit of time travelling to see if they might be gossiping together on a door step or in the middle of the street. I wish that chap or lady, whomever it is would hurry up and invent time travel.

Hi Brenda, I've already looked at leodis, Kim mentioned it earlier in the thread. It's a great site and I have added it to my favourites. It doesn't quite get me what I want but it comes pretty close. However if there is still someone out there willing to take photo's of the actual places I mentioned I would love to see them. Many thanks, John
