Hi Val, I've found it really quiet on here for a couple of weeks now - I think it's the 'summer-syndrome' - getting out & about, with the evenings long enough to actually DO something with family & friends, rather than just blowing the dust off old, dead rellies. Some of us are still here though!! Sarah :-)

I wish, hot, hot hospital ward with hot, hot staff and equally hot patients!! Roll on Malta next weekk, hot, hot, swimming pool and alcohol!!!!

what part of Malta you off too I love that place we usually go to the Fortina in Sliema

Buggiba, we have Maltese friends who have an apartment there so we'll be spending time with them, can't wait, it's the 6th time we've been and our kids are the same age so it's great for them too!!

we stayed there a couple of times too, I would live there but hubby wont. How is the building programme going, we were last there about 3 years ago and lots of ruins still everywhere.

We havn't been for 3 years either so I'll let you know!! Have to get back to the house work now!!Why is it we women need to leave everything spick and span before we go away? Last time we went we got ransacked by burglars so all my work was in vain!!

do you ever think maybe you should not tell people on here you are away, never know whos watching.

I do, but now I tell reliable neighbours and the police, also a single friend comes and stays various nights while we are away, so the house isn't completely alone!
