This is from the Help file on FTM Removing groups of individuals from your Family File To delete a group of individuals: 1. Create a report, Ancestor tree, Descendant tree, or Outline Descendant tree containing the group of individuals that you want to delete. 2. Look through the document to make sure that it contains the correct set of individuals. Note: Don't worry about what information appears in the document, because all information associated with the individuals in the document will be deleted. 3. From the People menu, select Delete Individuals (ALT, P, D). A confirmation dialog box appears. Click Yes. Family Tree Maker deletes the individuals Hope this is what you need! Jan

I have messed up again and need to delete some people from my Tree . I know you can delete individuals but can you delete whole families thanks .
