definition of 'full' age on Irish marriage certifi

That's what it means on English certificates, so I would assume it's the same for Irish. However, just because the couple said they were of full age, doesn't necessarily mean they were (sometimes people told little white lies). Kath. x

Hi - I have my grandparents marriage certificate which describes their ages as 'full'. Can I assume from this that they were at least 21 at time of marriage. Marriage took place in Roscrea, Tipperary, Ireland - many thanks, Faith
