Hi Kerry Ann. My Great great greandfather died and there was a pm and inquest. I e-mailed our local Archives libary and asked them if there was any info avalable. I recieved two sheets of the newspaper report into his death dated 1880. All i had to do was give all the info i had including dates of inquest. E-mail first and ask. They will tell you how much the search will cost. I was lucky because i gave her all the info i had. Dates etc and i only paid £2.50p. Try. you never know. Vanessa |

The best place to look is the nearest large library to where the incident took place. They should have local newspapers on microfilm and if you have a date of death they should be able to find a report of the inquest for you. My great-grandfather died as a result of a railway accident, and I found the report of the inquest in this way, just a couple of days after the death. Kath. x |
