Hello Victoria, Pen and Shirley. I have been out all day so only just seen your replies. Many, many thanks for the efforts you have made to trace this elusive bloke. I dont think it can be him in Gloucester in 1901 as he married in Richmond Surrey in 1902 as a widower. I saw someone in my searches who was a bus conductor and discounted it but now I think on,he could have been a bus conductor who progressed to a driver which I think is on MC. Trouble is I cant remember where I saw the bus conductor!!! Never mind, it`s all part of the fun of research isnt it. Thank you all for your help. Regards, Sylvia.

Sylvia when you start a thread then type see below(or anything else you want like 'to follow') in the text and then add you info as a reply to the thread it than comes up as you write it not all jumbled as Genes do it.

Hi Sylvia - I was hell bent and determined to find Frederick George for you - but after an hour or more and hundreds of Frederick Georges, George Fredericks, Georges and Fredericks I have 'come up empty' so, I will give this a nudge and see what the experts come up with (and hopefully they will tell us how they did it!!). Worthy still in Norton St Philip - and what looks as though it could be a brother of Worthy's on page 3 or 4, (Worthy on page 10). Victoria Australia Oh, and if you type up the message in Word, then just put a heading in and copy and paste the word document into 'add reply' - that way it will come out as intended and not scrambled!

Thank you for looking, Elaine and Christine. He must have avoided the census some how or he`s badly mis- transcribed. I will try trawling marriages and perhaps find him through the wife. Regards Sylvia.
