Importing exporting tree ANOTHER QUICK QUESTION

Yes you can export your tree to ancestry but if you are thinking of one world tree make sure you delete ancestors or details you don't want to share with the whole world because anyone can view it. If you donate a tree to one-world tree they will let you see any matching iformation but you still have to have the ancestry de-luxe membership to see anyone else on there which seems a bit unfair.

If you have had your Gedcom sent as Attachment then left click on it and select to save in the my documents folder. Roy

If you have exported your tree and have saved the GEDCOM you can upload that to GR at any time you wish. Just make sure you don't delete the file /folder or whatever that contains your exported tree. Glen

Hi i was wondering, if i have exported my tree and have the file in my emails, if this site ever crashes will i be able to import my tree in from my emails? I have been given details of where else i can have a 2nd copy of my tree but will get myself in a bit of a pickle if i have 2 trees. many thanks Jennie
