Does anyone know if they are sticking to their given despatch date please. I have one that should have been despatched 28 June and not yet arrived. Difficult to know when to contact them as with our postal service (one of my letters was found in someones drive this week) you never know. Ann Glos |

Hi Ann I usually found that the despatch date was around three days out either way.That's why i use the local RO now whenever possible,never had to wait beyond a week that way and often get the certs in two or three days. Unless you need the local offices that won't issue family history certs,i would suggest they are worth trying next time,you may be pleasantly suprised. Glen |

I have to say that, other when there was the big back log, I have usually got my certificates on time, and I have ordered loads over the past 3 years. Must be a problem with GRO then so i willw ait a few more days. Thanks for the input anyway. ann Glos |

hi ann glad its not just me!!!!! mine were due for dispatch on the 27th still havent arrived. the last one i had came 5 days before the dispatch date. hope its going to be monday kirstie |
