Lol Bev, yes they had pubs, in this case it looks like the actual 'area' was named 'The Plough,' this suggesting the accomodation your family lived in was close to farmland/fields...

Hi Bev, 1861 no address on image.. 1881 there is no address on image either.. In 1891 the address on image just reads The Plough.. 1901 looks like 'Yard in main street'.. ******* Bev, i don't think 'The Plough' is reffering to a public house in 1891...lol Further down image it reads Sabins? field barn (1891)

Oh my God, my sister still drinks in the Plough and has lock-in in there! xx

HI Tom and Lady Liberty, thanks again, I have just found another Wiggins also married a Watts! (Allen) How exciting! They would have been Brothers. When I was a young child, my Nan and Granddad who lived in Wardington had Watts as neighbours, its such a tiny village; I am sure that they would have been related. Lady Liberty, would you be able to tell me the street of where they lived so I can have a look, my Dad was also born in the village and most of the houses are STILL owned by the Lord and Lady of the Manor. Hi all, I am not sure of his age but his wife was a 'Bertha Wiggins' prior to the marriage and she was born in 1877. They married in 1900. I have got access to 1837 so do not mind providing look-ups in return or any other help or do you have suggestions of where I could look!
