I work with databases a lot at work and when scrollling down if I ever see a name that's in my tree I forget myself for a minute and have to stop to check it.

I am visiting Manor park cemetary on Wednesday to my Aunts and Grandmothers grave and my daughter asked me why I wanted to go and I could not explain why. Sometimes I just get the urge and need to go as though its a calling but did not dare tell her that. I just said it beats staying at home and house work and she really thought I had lost the plot and was mad may be I should have told her the real reason. Gwen

Dea You are not the only one. On Monday I went on a bus trip passing by villages that I know my ancestors came from. I would have loved to have been dropped off so I could look round the church yards. Felt quite frustrated. Pauline

so she didn't get the dusting done then Dea?? She had her day out, & now you can have yours.... Cemetaries can be calming places I guess - I've never been to one but I know church graveyards are. Sarah :-)

Took my little grand-daughter out for the day today -we went to a 'family farm' with LOTS of lovely animals. (really 'mucky though.. arghhhh!!) Sitting in the car on the way there I looked out of the window and there was a REALLY big cemetery!!, and I thought - OOOHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh - I wonder who is in there !!!!!!!!! - I REALLY wanted to stop the car and get out and look !! We had a lovely day but I think I am going to go back on my own and stop ofh at the Cemetery (JUST to see who is there and if there is anyone I know). Dea x
