I wonder if any of you kind people would be able to give me some advice. Charles Day year of birth approx 1816 (according to 1841 census) married Mary and lived in Berkshire. I can't seem to find a record of their marriage anywhere. Please could you advise the best place to find it. Earliest found child was Anne born circa 1838 in Berkshire. Many thanks |

Chances are they married prior to 1837 (and therefore prior to civil registration). You would need to check the Parish Registers, have you tried the IGI website (familysearch)? Glen |

Did they live in Berkshire at the time of their marriage or perhaps move there after? |

Aimee There is a Charles Day on the IGI site who married a Mary Ann Gilbert on 31 Dec 1836, Lambourne, Berkshire. Do you think this could be the one you are looking for Gwen |
