Although I like the web search facility - I have to say sometimes I find it much easier to come out of FTM and just search in the normal way. But it certainly was very handy when I first used it for bmds I hadnt even thought of looking for. |

Emma, dont forget you can edit the search criteria so you dont have to wade through hundreds of american records. Top right hand side of the page. In the little search boxes add U.K. after the place. |

Ignore that, just me being blonde again! Was looking at the US records and I don't have world membership! |

After all the rave reviews yesterday I have been out and bought FTM for myself. So far I am well impressed but just a bit frustrated! I have already got a subscription to ancestry website and so when i registered the program it asked me for the email address and found my existing account. Everything was fine yesterday and all the web search things worked fine. Today though it seems to have forgotten that I am registered and won't let me view the information when it does a web search. What have I done wrong?! |
