hi please could someone tell me where south mimms middlesex records are kept, i know some are in herts record office, but not all, appreciate any advice marcie x |

What particular records are you looking for? If you have been to that RO and they are not there they should be able to tell you where the rest are held, if you see what I mean. Staff at these offices are usually very helpful, I'd go back or ring them. Good luck Kat :) |

If you put 'south mimms' into the search box in A2A, you'll see that a lot of stuff which isn't in Herts Archives is at the London Metroplitan Archives. Otherwise there are brief mentions of Somerset, Nottingham Uni, Northants, Beds & Luton (several), Lancs, Imperial War Museum, Westminster, and various others. Christine |
