gedcom files - help!!!!!!

Oh, that's good to know - I thought ftm had sent everything to gr (well, all the fields that gr accepts). Thanks. I think my gr tree will stay pictureless - I'm not manually adding all the photos again every time I upload a gedcom! Sarah :-)

Hi Trish, You can't add pictures to a GEDCOM file. Althoughy you can manually add pictures to your GR tree. Select the 'Photos' tab in the bottom section of the individual's page on your GR tree and follow the prompts You have to do them one at a time. Please note that if you export a GEDCOM from GR, the photos are not included, as stated above. Paul

Exported your tree to a Ge - what's that? Gedcom is just a 'suitcase' software to transport genealogy info from one set of genealogy software to another. I don't think you can use it unless its loaded into other software. nell

Hi anyone Cab you help please. I successfully exported my tree to a Ge com file,and must say it is good to work with, but I cannot figure how to add pictures to it. Any ideaTrish
