Thanks Kate, I have thought about getting Sarah Elizabeth's birth certificate. She was born in 1875 but she remains a bit of a mystery as she does not appear in all the censuses with this family but I mentioned earlier there is a Sarah in Hanborough on the census as a Grand-daughter, but the ages are wrong. I will try and see if I can find the other Sarah again to see if anyone can see if I am missing anything obvious! Bev

Bev, your best bet to be sure that the marriage is the right one is to get the birth certificate of one of the children, as that will say Lucy's maiden name on it. Kate.

Strangely enough though, I keep bumping into this family as they have the name of my Grandmother in their family (Sarah Elizabeth Wiggins) but the dates in age are out, but I am sure that the families are tied somehow. My Wiggins were up north for a bit and the family that you have found also have Northern links. It's bugging me! Thanks Merry and Elizabeth!
