1901 Census - Patient details

Hi All, Doe anyone know if it is possible to obtain hospital details for someone who was a patient at Middlesex Hospital, All Souls, Marylebone in the 1901 cencus? and does anyone know who I would need to contact? Many thanks Paul

Hi Paul, I tried putting All Souls Hospital Marylebone on Google and came up with lots of gumph - you might even get a clue as to who to contact! Good Luck! Hazel

They are probably at the London Metropolital Archives. They may have a closure period. You may have to apply to the local NHS Trust for permission to have access to your rellies details. If all the above turns out to be correct and they grant you the permission, you will HAVE to pay the LMA to do the research for you, if the closure period is not over. (ie if the closure period is 75 years and your rellie died in 1910 you might think all will be fine, but if your rellie's notes are in a ledger dated 1905-1940, then you would not be allowed to see the ledger!) If the LMA does the research it can be quite pricey. I got g-granny's medical records ( dated 1920-1942) from the LMA (not the same hospital as yours) about 6 or 7 years ago it cost £35. Merry I
