1841 census - image for Silvia Noel born 1782 - its really faint The transcription shows up her and two daughters Frederica and Mary. I'm pretty sure the person above her is John Noel her husband, but I'm struggling to get anything out if the image to make it clearer. They're on the left-hand page, lines 8 onwards so if anyone can have a look and see if they agree with me that'd be great. Cheers. Zoe xx

cheers all. Thats what I was hoping you'd all say. You've made my day I've been sending myself round in circles as John's age is given as 75 when he dies in 1859 so I've been ignoring a John Noel in 1851 cos he's the wrong age and has a wife of the wrong name. It all falls into place when his age on 1841 ties up with 1851 and I remember I'm a dunce and his wife 1st wife died end of 1841!!! Now to find the reference for hsi 2nd marriage and I *should* get a fathers name - yaaaaaaaaay Zoe

Hi Zoe - did you see the other John Noel - b.1785 in Foreign Parts and living in Dudley? Could he be Silvia's brother or something? Hazel

Then there are Louis and Frances Noel both aged 25, both born in Foreign Parts and living at St Georges, Hanover Square (as servants!). What a pity it doesn't give at least which country! Hazel
