Miffed... Pocket Genealogist Ver 3 to be released

There is a free upgrade to users who purchased version 2 after April 1st. So why am I miffed? Because I bought Version 2 in March with assurances from them that no new version was imminent. Looking on the bright side, they are offering a 50% discount for 60 days to existing users and, at that price for such an excellent programme, I will be one of the first in the queue. |

I guess it great for when you go to look up certificates,you can store the info. Other than that not sure I would need it |

Hi Pauline, I use it because my Family Tree is on my laptop, but much of my internet work is on my office computer. Using Pocket Genealogist I can carry all my data around on my phone, much easier than when I used to carry great wads of paper. As you say, not everyone would have a need for it. Derek |
