Hi Everyone im back lol Am I following the right family? 1881 census Alonzo Walter Binch b 1873 Hyson Green Nottmshire Folio 3345/47 page 8 (living at home with family) 1891 Walter Binch b 1873 Folio 50 page 3 living as boarder smalley derbyshire 1901 Walter Binch b 1873 folio 193 page 39 living with in laws wife & sons. one son is named on the 1901 census as cicil a binch b 1901 my grandads name was Cecil Joseph Arthur Binch b 1901 are these all the same ones? on grandads marriage cert in 1923 it says his dads name is Walter Alonzo Binch wheelwright and he was still alive in 1923. So am I right or am I following the wrong family lol (just for a change) All help appreciated from the bottom of my heart xxxxxxxxxxx Luv Angie xxxx

Sounds good - does the job match? Have you got grandads birth cert so you could see if its the right wife?

I haven't taken all of that in straight away, but certainly, the birth reg you mentioned (1901 Q1) matches completely with Cecil aged 4 months on the 1901 census, as he has obviously been registered the Q after his birth and born in the right place! Merry

Hi Heather xxxxx No havn't got Grandads birth cert yet (was obsessed with dads side for a while lol) ive just sent for another 4 certs so ill send for Grandads (shh dont tell hubby lol) got his marriage cert to my nanna and said his dads name was Walter Alonzo Binch and that he was a Wheel wright. But I thought the rest of his family where Lace makers/manufacturers guess have to get the cert to be sure hey Thank u for replying and helping me xxxx Luv Angie xxxxxx

But does it say wheelwright on the census info for Walter?
