That's great - thanks everyone, I am hoping its his date of birth as I have the same year at least but I wanted to attempt to make sure. |

Think I have just found a relly on the Nat. Archives, I just have a query before I spend my £3.50. What does the date refer to? is it the date of birth? My question might seem a bit daft, but I really don't want to waste the money! It reads: Description Medal listing of Jacobson, Francis C Discharge number: R176704 Date 12 August 1920 Database of World War II Medals issued to Merchant Seamen Piece Database of World War II medals issued to merchant seamen Image contains 1 medal listing of many for this collection |
