GR tree software is very basic, the only way round it without Gedcoms etc is to enter one of the spouses twice, once in the correct family group and once with the marriage partner, make a note in the 'extra details' to clarify the person is entered twice. Better still spend £25 on Family Tree Maker because you DO need to back up your tree away from GR. Glen |

I think I read on here that if you link them on your home software (which DOES let you do it) then upload your tree to GR it will accept it. Sarah :-) |

Thanks Michael. I agree there should be a way of joining them as by the dtails i have found there seems to be a bit of it in my family and sisters marrying there sisters ex husband. Thanks Jennie |

I also have cousins marrying; I asked GR about this and they said there was no way of showing it on the site. Bit stupid really, since it was quite common. |

Hi i am unsure as to how to put this into my tree. My g g grandma married her cousin the thing is if i put his parents in i am going to repeat myself so is there anyway of linking them altogether without repeating myself.. Many thanks Jennie |
