Well done! Lucky you........ I have been similarly lucky with bits of memorabilia, except that, in the case of certificates, my mum would always produce them AFTER I had bought copies!! Merry

I went to my grandmas today with what i have on the family tree so far to see if i could rejog her memory a little bit. She asked me to clamber around in her front room where i might find a book with birth/death dates in it. Whilst clambering around i came across an envelope with old papers in it. I asked my gran what they were and she didn't know so we looked and i couldn't believe it she has birth certificates marriage certificates and even newspaper clippings. I have copied them as she would only let me have them for an hour and am really pleased as this now ties my tree in and has saved me a lot of money from ordering them. The funny thing is my gran has no idea where she got them from but also found some wedding anniversary presents which were passed down the generations and an old bible date 1801 which when a child was born wrote it's name and dob in it. I'm so happy this is such a great help to me. Sorry but i just had to share my happy news with you. Regards Jennie
