There's only one match for the birth cert!! Name: John William Brown Year of Registration: 1898 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Beverley (1837-1937) County: East Riding Of Yorkshire Volume: 9d Page: 115 If you buy a copy it will give you his parents details. Merry

Do you know when he died? (if after 1969 his death record may help you find his birth, and even before that it may give some clues!) Merry

Well Im struggling I dont mind telling you. I just cant find birth details of my Grandad John William Brown born 5th Feb 1898 in Beverley Yorkshire. I would love to know who his parents are but alas, Im not getting anywhere. Would someone please help me. He was married to Avis Annie Robinson also from Beverley.
