I have 'found' the marriage of my 3xgreat grandparents and would like to get a copy of the church entry. I have tried to get a contact with the Bristol Records Office, but it comes up...Page not available..... any ideas please. Kathlyn |

hiya, what year did the marriage take place??? if it was after 1837, you can get their marriage cert if it was before, you could try emailing the local library where the marriage took place, they usually have the parish registers on microfishe, so they can take copy of them. HTH Julie |

If I were you I'd definitely try very hard to get the Church Register entry rather than a certificate... It's the source document for all the certificates/index entries (i.e. NO transcriptions intervene) It has the original signatures (or Xs) of your ancestors As a bonus, it's quite likely to be cheaper.
