Sylvia Does that mean that you just happened to mention family history in your conversation? Gwyn..... who managed to get the gasman to do lookups when he went to the Channel Islands . lol |

What is interesting is that its the males who do this. Most of the family historians I know are women whose husbands are only vaguely interested. Its the women in my and my husband's families who label photographs, keep baby books, save wedding/christening mementoes and school reports etc. nell |

While at the bank today getting my cheque for my first lot of certs (whoohoo cant wait for them to come now) the teller was telling me that where she comes from in north India. they have one family member that remembers all thier family history and this is passed down from father to son as a tradition. Now, why cant i have one of those. Sylvia |
