I know of twin boys who were adopted straight after birth and they were registered baby 1 and baby 2 and then their surname. When I first heard this I didn't believe it so I emailed the Scottish GRO and they said it was possible. |

Sometimes you may find the child had died before the birth registration took place, so the child went un-named. Otherwise, it was that the parents had not decided (agreed?!!!) on a name for the baby. Merry |

It means that the parents hadn't thought of/decided on a name by the time they came to register the child. Other than that, it contains the same info as any other certificate. |
