John - Occupation - shoe maker + bill sticker (must have been a part-time job to augment his income?) Dea x

Hi, To me it looks like the occupation is Shoe Maker and Bill Sticker, and john's middle name does look like Trezese. Sue

Occupation looks like 'shoe maker and bill sticker' Middle name looks like Trezese. It's possibly a Cornish surname? You would need to check on other records. nell

John's middle name - 'Trezise' - you may find that it is the maiden name of his mother or grandmother? Dea x

I make it Trezise - It is probably someones (mums?) surname. Cornish do that all the time - which is helpful. Dads job looks like Shoemaker and Bill stitcher (whatever a bill may be?) Theres a bloke a bit further up the page doing something with Bills aswell! Good news is that Madron have an online parish clerk - as I contacted her some time back and she kindly looked through parish records for my lot.
