NEVER GIVE UP. Only yesterday I found a whole raft of husband's relatives after discovering a 2nd marriage. When and where was Matilda born? Have you tried Slatham, Satham, Tatham? |

In 1841 the first 180 or so entries for Birmingham have no proper names.....she could easily be one of those......... And I expect you would get similar for Edgbaston and Aston and other places near to Birmingham too. Merry |

Am about to give up looking for matilda latham on the 1841/51 census's. I have tried every spelling of her first, surname, mothers maiden name, that I know of. I know she did'nt leave birmingham, but where she was on the census nights only heaven knows. I'm giving up, while I still have some hair left!!! |
