Had a look on WMidlands BMD site and found these (but they aren't Walsall): Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Reference West Midlands Birth indexes for the years: 1897 WILLETTS Gertrude Kingswinford Dudley KIN/163/12 West Midlands Birth indexes for the years: 1898 WILLETTS Gertrude Halesowen Dudley HAL/069/97 Christine PS - oddly cannot find a GRO index entry (on images) for the first one, but did find both these: 1898 Jan-Feb-Mar Stourbridge (which covers both Kingswinford and Halesowen) WILLETTS, Gertrude 6c-194 and 6c-163 (in that order!)

Help needed finding my husbands granma. She was b c 1897 in Rushall Staffs. Her father was Joseph Willetts according to her marriage cert. and ?? her mother Mary Willetts nee ? Bamford. She married Joseph Clifft on the 25th May 1915 in Walsall Staffs. Can anybody help? regards Lynda
