Thanks for that. It looks exactly what i was looking for. Poor lady, I hope they were kind as she was widowed and came from Belgium-her son had gone to Doncaster so I don't expect he visited here much-no difference there then...

Have just found my gg grandmother was here for the 1891 census-it was a home for blind people. Have g****d the name but come up with nothing. Has anyone heard of it please?
