Could somebody please be kind enough to look up 1901 census on Arthur E Davis (wife Amelia) born 1850 Bloomsbury and tell me what they think his job was. I have looked at 1891 and thought it said Souphouse manager, but i am not so sure on looking at 1901 that i am correct. Hope he was - i have never had one of those before!! Maureen |

Jean or JeSS could i please be a pain and ask if you could look at 1891. it definelty says Church of England so maybe scripture reader could be nearer the mark maureen |

Thanks everyone!! Think i had better visit specsave!! No soup - never mind, i have never had a preacher either he must have been the 'black sheep' if you could call a preacher that, rest of the clan were working in the docks Maureen |
