and you can go to the link for the GRO on Ancestry and order the Cert straight away

I think someone is telling me something - I have just decided to order a cert and wanted to check the reference first - went into family relatives and it wouldn't recognise my password - made me send for a new one - I did this 3 times and all of them didn't work !!! Went to 1837 - tried the search but every time it gives me page unavailable. I REALLY want to order this now, especially as everything seems to be against me!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a reference of Salford 8d 869 - June Quarter, 1937 - Arthur Massey to Lilyan Selwood ???? Would like to have it confirmed before I 'shell-out' another £7. Thanks, Dea x WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT ??? - I have had to try 4 times to paste this. I REALLY think there is something exciting on this marriage cert that someone dousen't want me to see. Dea x
