Poor house in Paisley, Scotland

I have just found out that my gt,gt,gt grandfather died in the poor house in Paisley, does any one know how I go about getting information on the poor house, whether it still exists, where the records are now kept if it is no longer in existence? any help much appreciated. Tricia

Have a look at Genuki,try googling 'workhouse' or 'poor law' and you should find some information,some will be general info but you may find some more specific details. Glen
