My cd rom has died, my house looks like two atom bombs have hit it, I'm a knackered overworked nurse and my family tree is a muddle, bar one file, paper everywhere!! Where do i start? My cousinn is fisking the puter when we all have done with summer hols but until then I'm in the land of paper!! lol

Carol I would get some folders those paper come cardboard ones are cheap and have one for each name. Germaine x

Carol, You cant beat the Family Tree Maker, I enter all my details onto it, and then print the family record groups so that I can put them in a file and look at them for easy reference. I also have all my certificates in slippery fish at the back of the file in date order for both birth and marriage certs.....But then I do not have a life apart from genealogy ....Gawd I sound like a saddo....LOL

Thanks, I think I'll invest in FTM My life is being over-run with family tree--sad that I am-I wouldn't change it!!!
