For reference events from 1837 to 1851 volume number will be XX1 events from 1852 to 1946 volume number 8e events from 1946 to 1974 will be vol 10b Glen |

I am trying to read the Burnley Volume number for a birth in Q1 1926, John Ashworth. Cannot make out the letter after 8. Any ideas plse. Jenny |
