need help to find Richard in 1841 Census

Can anyone give me any tips on finding Richard Remington on the 1841 census. He is on everyone up to 1901 but I can't find him on the 1841. He was born 1816 Teston Kent married Harriett Rumbold (widow) 1843.On the 1841 census I can find harriett's first marriage to William Rumbold. On the 1851 census Richard and Harriette are living Sydenham road Lewisham. Richard's father was Samuel Remington and in 1841 he is living in Church lane with wife Elizabeth and two daughters mary and Charlotte but where is Richard? Any tips would be appreciated. Could this not be him, married before as ths chap doesn't appear to on the 1851 census. 1841 Caroline Remington abt 1811 St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex View Record Louisa Remington abt 1830 Middlesex, England St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex View Record Richard Remington abt 1816 Middlesex, England St Leonard Shoreditch Middlesex Jean In fact this doesn't seem to appear again. |
