Well, switched off, gone for a walk, poured a drink and switched back on!! Have now deleted original tree and started again. All seemed to be going well and the home page has loaded but there is no data on it - just my personal information and the introduction I put on there. How do I get the surname list etc on to it? |

Hi Elaine, although i have never had this specific problem (using FTM 2005) i find that it is often best to close all connections to the internet,sign on again and then update,on occassions when i have 'updated' twice in one session,the update hasn't always been succesful. I also seem to have problems adding more than one report or scrapbook to the page,it always seems to only allow one at once,not the five claimed reports that are possible. Glen |

Can someone help me with my FTM 2006 home page. I have successfully created a Family Home page and also added an ancestral tree to it. No problem. However, was then fiddling about with it and have accidentally deleted the data (surname list etc) Have gone back into FTM and selected - update or edit home page- which then takes you through the options again of uploading all or selected names. However I keep getting an error mesage - You have already uploaded an item that is currently being formattted. You will not be able to upload another item until this is done, formatting takes approx 15 minutes. Have left everything for at least 45 minutes but am still getting the same message. Am just wondering whether it would be better to delete the Home Page and start again. Any advice welcome! Thanks Elaine |
