Chiswick in Middlesex.....help please

Hi Paul, thanks for replying, unfortunately all I have is Chiswick, Middlesex, so I will have to look at every parish within Chiswick x Just spotted you have put in St Nicholas, thanks so much Paul I will check that out x |

I lived in Chiswick all my life so I should be able to help you in your quest. Chiswick is currently within the Borough of Hounslow but up to the 1960's was the borough of Brentford and Chiswick. As regards parishes there are several within Chiswick, so tell us the location and we should be able to help. (Hammersmith, by the way, is the neighbouring borough.) The most likely parish is St Nicholas, as that includes the old Village of Chiswick itself. |

Looking for a baptism on the IGI of a relative who is down on the census as being born in Chiswick Middlesex in 1797/99....Any idea what parish to look in on the Hugh Wallis site?? Fuzzy x |
